Mobile loyaltyThe card delivered when subscribing a loyalty or affinity program is easily substituted by the mobile phone - providing intriguing benefits to both consumers and businesses. Information about customer's behaviour and buying patterns are collected every time the mobile loyalty card is used. The customer remains unencumbered with yet another piece of plastic. OverviewCustomer registers for a loyalty programme at a store and receives an individual Data Matrix code turning the mobile phone into a loyalty card. The Gavitec hardware scanner is used by the customer in order to collect loyalty points while making purchases or consuming services. The customer simply shows the mobile phone to the scanner, the code is identified and validated in the central database. Any points earned are automatically added to the customers loyalty account. The customer can also convert the points into vouchers and discount coupons redeemable in the same store using the same scanner. |
